My last week in Portland was spent eating, eating, eating. Lunches, dinners, drinks. Repeat. One of my dearest friends, Mami, took it upon herself to make sure I sampled as much of Portland dining before my move. Apart from stuffing me with Saint Honore pastries whenever she could, she took me to Yakuza for a chef's tasting. And it was tasty. Contrary to reviews I read, the service was great.
My advice: Skip the sushi and go straight to the Kobe burger.
You'd never guess I was vegetarian for four years ...
