I'm not sure about the quality of that particular pair, but their ankle boots were made by Sven and seemed like they were pretty sturdy.

Unfortunately, I know nothing about the sizing. If they're at all like the Swedish Hasbeens (their bases look identical), I'd say half sizes should order down.

I also was admiring those shoes last night (but I'm pretty sure my spring shopping is finished for now...keep reading)!

Hope you are feeling better. Yeah, it's a good idea to make sure you are recovered before you hop on a plane.

oh, I knew about Odessa btw (fortunately/ unfortunately) from perusing the internet for my Marant post. I'm afraid I ended up splurging (big time) and bought the Peru Jacket from Odessa. At least it was tax free!
