In an impressive showing of efficiency, the US Embassy of Phnom Penh provided me with a brand new, shiny passport in no more than 7 short working days. Cliche as it may be, I really do love my passport. While staring at the unmarked, clean booklet, sitting in perfect tact and in stark contrast to my current passport, well, I grew giddy thinking about what journeys this small booklet will evidence.
On another note, Stuff Expat Aid Workers Like really is hilarious, if not full of embarrassingly accurate tidbits of truth. A few of my favorites:
