Another Bangkok Market. And, my obsession with pain d'épices.

Bo.lan market, every first Saturday in Bangkok.

I picked up a few loaves of bread.  My new favorite is pain alsacien, which is a dark rye.  I nibbled on pain d'épices (pictured above) and have not been able to get it out of my mind this week.

I also picked up a container of beetroot hummus, which I hope to replicate.  That color is great.

  3. After I initially left a comment I seem to have clicked the -Notify

Perhaps there is a way you can remove me from that service?
    Thanks!

  4. Yum! Those loaves are beautiful! Sorry I haven't commented in so long, I've been trying to limit my internet time these days...I didn't even realize that you had moved to Bangkok! Whoa!! My family is headed to Phuket around the holidays, I'm hoping we'll be able to squeeze in a short trip to Bangkok too!

    1. Hi Jennifer,

No worries. I moved a few months ago. If you need recommendations for dining in Bangkok, let me know. (Ethan and I have been in exploration mode - and this city is vastly bigger than Phnom Penh.)
