Congrats on one month! Just stumbled across your blog and find myself terribly intrigued. I actually wrote a paper about Cambodia in the sixth grade for "history" day and have long wished to visit. Will have to live vicariously through your journey for the time being! XO Katie
Thanks for the comments! One month of blogging down.
Patricia and Eunice: Yes, Mimi is pretty well-garbed and insanely cute.
Neo: The country is probably way more navigable since the time you wrote your 6th grade essay, but it is still suffers from many of the ailments of a traumatized, war-ravaged country. Still, it and its people are beautiful. Thanks for following along on this journey!
Thanks for the comment on my Afrikaans/English blog. Sometimes the internet gets on my nerves, but then I come across blogs like yours. I'm reminded of how much of a gift it is to follow the adventures of someone a world away. Sterkte met Khmer (good luck with Khmer)!
*Ooh* Congrats on your first month, I hope you have many hundreds more!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Verdant. The idea is great, but I am going to have to figure out the whole Khmer alphabet on this comp.
